Description
The ESBE VTD300 series thermal valve is used in the
switching applications. The valve diverts the incoming flow
at ports A or B based on the temperature of the liquid.
OPERATION
The VTD300 ESBE series is represented by a valve
3-way thermal for zone applications. When the
temperature of the incoming liquid is below the
nominal zone temperature, the liquid is diverted to the
door B; when instead the temperature of the liquid entering
is above the nominal zone temperature comes
switched to door A.
OPERATION
The valve is equipped with a thermostat set to one
switching temperature that reacts to temperature
of the incoming liquid and consequently changes the direction
outgoing flow. Switching from one door to another
is in the range of about 2 C or 3 C, depending on the range of
temperature, with respect to the switching temperature
par. This means that a valve with a temperature
switching temperature of 45 C at a temperature
of the liquid entering <43 C will divert the flow to the door
B, while at an input temperature of 43-47 C
will divert the liquid to both the A and B ports, while
a liquid at an inlet temperature of> 47 C will come
diverted to door A.
Four switching temperatures are available
nominal: 45 C, 50 C, 60 C and 70 C.
Valve operation is independent of the
mounting position
