Our Superwool® blanket products offer exceptional performance-to-weight ratio and are resistant to wetting and chemical attack. Superwool® is the only low persistence bio fiber available with a temperature rating of 1300°C (2372°F).
Superwool® fibers are not classified as carcinogenic by IARC or under any national regulation on a global basis. They have no warning label requirement under GHS (Globally Harmonized System for Classification and Labeling of Chemicals). In Europe, Superwool® fibers meet the requirements established by note Q of the European Directive 67/548. All Superwool® fiber products are therefore exempt from the classification and labeling regulation in Europe.
